Day trip to Kamakura

Today we embarked on a trip to Kamakura (very touristy)... we weren't the only ones with this idea.

First, we visited a Shinto shrine ⛩️ and bowed deeply while passing through the Torii gate. Then we headed to the bamboo forest and unexpectedly encountered many koi there. Sooo many beautiful colors.

After the bamboo forest, we stumbled upon a cute pottery shop and bought chopsticks with chopstick rests for Julia and me.

Then we jumped straight into the hustle and bustle of Kamakura (shopping street). There were many small shops with all sorts of lovely things to buy 🙌.

Then we had a quick bite to eat and quickly went to the beach. There, we witnessed a motorcycle gang spectacle, the Bōsōzoku were out and about and had a little ride with a lot of noise.

Then we started our journey home and caught a glimpse of Mount Fuji beside the houses during the sunset. 🙇‍♀️
