Krattigen, Switzerland

We arrived in Krattigen, above Lake Thun, in dreary weather. The view compensates for the arduous journey on a Pentecost Saturday. We were lucky to be able to enjoy the lake, Thun, and Interlaken for another 2 days, as well as the opposite mountains. After that, the haze from Canada set in and visibility was significantly reduced.

The campsite is very nice and there are numerous well-marked hiking trails available, but unfortunately, it is quite noisy due to the mountain road, carpentry, and recycling depot.
