The national museum

In 10 minutes we have to leave, because today we are still going towards the first volcano. But before that, I want to quickly tell you what we did yesterday.

In the morning, we mainly spent our time planning an approximate travel route. In the afternoon, we went to the National Museum of Costa Rica. It is located in an old military facility in the middle of San Jose. You enter the museum through a beautiful butterfly garden. After that, you come to the park in the middle of the facility. From here, you can visit various exhibitions, such as the history of the facility, insects in Costa Rica, or the history of the country including ancient gold jewelry from indigenous people.
