Just two more weeks until I return to Germany. So I packed my bags and booked a flight to Kyushu, the southernmost of the four main islands of Japan. As I was waiting at the Tokyo Narita Airport gate and thought nothing of it, suddenly someone said, 'Sandra, is that you?' There stood my old boss from Hakone, who happened to have booked the same flight to Fukuoka as me. What a coincidence :D
When you tell Japanese people that you're going to Fukuoka, the first question they ask is, 'How long?' Because there's really nothing to see in Fukuoka. It's a million-city, but that's about it. Fukuoka is famous for its food. Especially ramen (noodle soup). And the small food stalls by the river, called Yatai. And I have to admit, I had the best ramen of my life here :) It was worth it:P Next stop, Nagasaki.
