Kamakura, the little Kyoto

One day before Jens' and Laura's departure, we went to Kamakura, 1 hour south of Tokyo. In Kamakura, like in Kyoto, there are many temples and shrines. And the second largest Buddha in Japan - you can even go inside!

Kamakura is located right next to the Enoshima Dragon Peninsula (see old entry from July/August). When we were at the beach, we could even see the silhouette of Mt. Fuji. Although it had been raining the days before, it was really hot for October on this day.
