USA West Coast Roadtrip - Day 15

The second to last night of our trip has passed. We left the West Coast a few days ago, and due to the domestic flights, it's not really a road trip anymore.

Today, however, we're continuing with a rental car. We walk about 5 kilometers to the AVIS pickup station with our luggage - not a smart idea. The pickup station is so small that we pass by it twice. The young guy at the counter seems to be having his first day at work, he is completely helpless and constantly needs phone support from his manager. The entire administrative process takes 50 minutes, but we remain patient.

The route takes us to Austin, where Andreas has a ticket for his 6th concert on this trip. He drives the entire distance himself; we arrive at the accommodation around 3:30 PM. After not showering for 2 days because the last accommodation was unbearable, we can catch up on personal hygiene here.

At around 5:00 PM, I drop Andreas off at the concert hall in Cedar Park near Austin. I need the car to find dinosaur tracks, but Google Maps leads me to an Indian restaurant. I give up searching and head back to the accommodation.

I'll pick up Andreas again around 10:00 PM.
