Starting the day at 6:15 with Tai Chi after a wonderfully quiet night, what could be more beautiful? Too bad we weren't there.
The ship resumes its journey and we have a leisurely breakfast before the kayak tour begins. We prefer to laze around and enjoy the view.
Check-out is at 11:30 and we will be picked up for the ride to Hanoi airport.
On the way, we make a stop at a very old pagoda from the beginning of the 14th century and a temple in honor of a general who saved the Vietnamese in three victorious battles from the Mongol invasion. Both very remarkable.
Then we continue to the airport, check in and fly to Hue.
After a flight of about 1 1/2 hours, we land in the old imperial city and are taken to the hotel, the former residence of a French consul. Very fancy.
Then a late dinner at the restaurant, which was still open only for us, and then off to bed, it was late.
