Get up early, shower, have breakfast: Departure to Haiphong, the largest port city in Vietnam at 7:30 am. Passing through dreary settlements that still belong to Hanoi, we drive to Haiphong. Due to traffic and partially poor road conditions, the 135 km journey takes almost 4 hours.
In Haiphong, we board our luxury junk. After taking possession of the very attractive cabin, we head to the lunch buffet, not bad.
The journey in Halong Bay passes countless limestone cliffs of different sizes, which provide a wonderful panorama.
Afterwards, a cave visit is planned, but we prefer to stay on the sun deck. We will probably also skip the swimming lesson afterwards.
We are on deck for happy hour at precisely 7:30 pm and enjoy a cocktail.
At 7:30 pm, there is a candle light dinner against the backdrop of the cliffs and the illuminated ships in front, truly beautiful and the food is excellent.
Tomorrow at 6:15 am is Tai Chi, great, our anticipation is incredibly high, I probably won't be able to sleep.
