Actually, you can't eat enough lamb in NZ. After a day of hiking to the Franz Josef Glacier and a small insignificant detour to Fox Glacier (the access was still closed due to storm damage), I returned to Hokitika in the late afternoon. Get refreshed quickly and then head to Beach Hotel on the terrace. I had preemptively reserved a table.
With a view, the food tastes so much better!
So I ordered lamb again. For the same price as yesterday at Stumpers, I was curious to see what awaited me.
It was all much smaller than yesterday, but way better. Especially the view!
Very delicious!
