Prolog II
Almost exactly 24 hours after I set off, I then reached Ancona. The ICE to Munich

At 1:00 PM, I leave my apartment to embark on the (presumably) slightly more than 72-hour journey to the island of Ikaria.
I have plotted the route on the map using ChatGPT.
I am scheduled to leave Hamburg at 3:01 PM and arrive in Munich at 8:50 PM. From there, I will continue overnight on the ÖBB Nightjet until I transfer to an Italian regional train to Ancona in the early morning in Bologna. I will then have a five-hour wait over lunch until my ferry to Patras departs. The crossing takes about 23 hours, and from Patras, I will continue by bus to Piraeus, where I will arrive sometime in the evening. I will spend the night in a hotel right by the harbor so that I can take the last leg by ferry early Monday morning. The ferry arrives in Evdilos around 2:30 PM. There, I will pick up my rental car and head to my accommodation.
So that covers the dry facts for now.
From the next post onwards, it will be about what really happens.
