Why go to Frankfurt?
As is customary the day before the flight, we will do the “park, sleep & fly”, which allows for a relaxed start to the vacation. While the train fare to and from is included in the trip price, someone please explain how the two of us are supposed to get from Mylau to Frankfurt by train to check-in at 7:00 AM?
So, one day before, we go to Frankfurt, have a peaceful overnight stay, park the car at the hotel for the trip duration, and the shuttle will take us to the airport early and pick us up again at the end of the trip.
The drive was calm, aside from heavy vacation traffic from Reichenbach to Frankfurt and several construction delays.
It was good that we were NOT in a hurry. ☹️☹️
