At 11:30 AM, mussels were prepared on Deck 9 in a huge pan, with a chef explaining everything, unfortunately in Norwegian, beautifully with herbs, onions, and a whole bottle of wine; everyone could taste it, just once tasty.

2:30 PM, we all go for a “Café-Schubert-Walk-Home,” mind you, not from alcohol.

3:00 PM, we go ashore, Træna is on the agenda.

It was dry, the surrounding mountains unfortunately in fog, we couldn’t see up to the peaks.

6:00 PM, we set off towards Lofoten heading for Reine.

After a stop at the bar, dinner is at 6:30 PM.

Starter: Arctic char tartar from Sigerfjord

Main course: Confit duck leg with horseradish butter

Dessert: Floating island of soft meringue with vanilla sauce and caramel.
