After our breakfast we started the journey to Wellington, our last stop on the North Island. I don't know how, but yesterday afternoon her Kiwi cuddly toy was still there - not anymore, they can probably fly after all :D
Shortly after the start, E thought about her breakfast again and we did damage control on the side of the road amidst mooing spectators. So we arrived in Wellington a little later than expected. We were lucky and got one of the last few parking spaces in the campervan area in the middle of the harbor.
After B prepared lunch and I scrubbed the child seat with a toothbrush and detergent, we walked along the harbor. We took the cable car up to the viewpoint over Wellington and the botanical gardens. E was fit again and chattering well.
We had an early dinner at the Crab Shack at the harbor as the ferry leaves very early tomorrow. Of course Benny ate a crab - yuck :D but it was good.
Wellington's harbor area was much busier and noisier than Auckland. On the way back to our bus, E fell asleep, which was a good time.
Goodnight North Island.
