Day 8 - 10.06.2017 - Walk to Port di Portese

At some point last night after 11pm, it became quite quiet. The temperature dropped significantly overnight and even the mobile home, which was unbearably hot during the day, cooled down, making it quite chilly. This morning, we had breakfast on the terrace and it was surprisingly quiet at the campsite. Henriette wanted to go to the playground first, which is right next to our mobile home. After a round at the playground for Henriette, we took a walk to Lake Garda. Right across the street is a small section of the Eden campsite with a pier into the water. We then walked to the yacht harbor of Portese and looked at all the boats parked there. Then we had delicious ice cream and enjoyed the great view from the beach. We also threw stones into the water with Jette (the beach is a stone beach) and collected some seashells. Juliane also enjoyed it a lot and sorted stones with Papa ;-) After the walk, the girls were supposed to take a nap... but that didn't happen ;-) So we fulfilled Jette's wish and went to the swimming pool. First, we went to the one near us, but it was too cold for Jette. So we went to the other one, where there is a children's pool - the water was of course just as cold ;-) Juliane somehow didn't like it as much and screamed - she only briefly went in the big pool on Mama's arm. Probably the water was too cold for her too. But at least we all - with our fancy swim caps - were in the pool. It's now almost 9 o'clock. Jette didn't want to sleep - all the children are still loud and playing. We took her out of bed again - she always looks out the window anyway ;-) Yesterday she told us that she looked out the window, a man passed by and said "Sleep"... so she quickly lay down again :-D
