Day 5 - Gothenburg

The fifth day of our trip is here, we wake up by the sea and will sleep somewhere in or around Gothenburg in the evening.

But first, we have about 2 hours drive ahead of us and the search for a campsite near the city.

Our first attempt at Liseberg Camping Askim Strand is a success!

The nice lady at the reception assigns us a spot with a view of the archipelago gardens in front of Gothenburg, beautifully idyllic and quiet.

After a refreshing shower and a delicious lunch, we decide to drive to the center of Gothenburg in the afternoon and take a look around.

HAGA Quarter
HAGA Quarter
In the HAGA quarter, you can stroll through the small streets or sit in a café for a Swedish Fika - the cozy coffee drink in the afternoon.
If you prefer something more bustling, you can go to one of the largest shopping centers in Scandinavia, which is very close by, and browse through the stores for hours.

Initially, we find Gothenburg a bit unfamiliar, so we go back to the campsite and take a nice evening walk along the archipelago with a sunset.
