Day 14 - Gota Canal Part 2

From Vättern to Roxen

Our route today takes us past the Gota Canal for the second time, and we take the opportunity to visit this enchanting part of Sweden once again.

We drive to the small town of Berg on Lake Roxen, where there are a total of 11 locks to overcome.






...and further towards Söderköping

As luck would have it, 3 boats have to go through the lock flights this morning to finally reach the Baltic Sea at Söderköping/Mem. 

We also drive along the Gota Canal to Söderköping and continue to Högsby, where we spend the night alone by a lake.
