We are traveling south to Nicotera tomorrow

We are heading to Nicotera tomorrow after a successful week here at Ciccio sul mare.
Nicotera is just 16 km to the south. We will take a regional train for 2 stations.
Ciccio sul mare is a family-friendly and welcoming hotel with very accommodating staff. The guests are from Italy, a few from Germany, and us from Sweden.
During the days, we have been at the beach, sunbathing and swimming. Unfortunately, the beach doesn’t offer opportunities for long beach walks. The beach here in Santa Maria is short with slippery rocks at the beginning when you enter. We have truly made good use of our water shoes.
Now we are looking forward to experiencing Nicotera Marina and a long sandy beach. B-E is looking forward to a sunbed; here we have each had a deck chair. We will stay there for 3 nights before heading back to Rome.
