On Thursday, June 12, my husband and I are going to Rome.
We have 36 hours to experience Rome before we take the train on Saturday morning to Calabria, specifically Santa Maria.
We will stay at Hotel Lirico for two nights.
We plan to explore the Trastevere neighborhood, the Sisto and Sant'Angelo bridges over the Tiber River, Villa Borghese park, and the Pincio terrace.
I’m keeping my fingers crossed that we can fit everything in. Trams and buses are available for £1.5 per single ticket.
