Camogli

The last train stop on our journey in Liguria in the spring of 2025 will be Camogli.

We are traveling from Sweden and Arlanda on April 21. We will stay 3 nights in Bonassola, 4 nights in Sestri Levante, and the rest in Camogli.

The regional train from Sestri Levante takes about 40 minutes.

We are staying at Hotel La Camogliese *** for a week. A lovely hotel, super tasty breakfast, friendly service. A successful reservation by my tour leader.

A charming town with a rocky beach, attractions, hiking opportunities, and everything we need within walking distance.

When we are heading home, there is a train strike in Italy. The journey to Milan became a bit different. Taxi to Genoa, then a train to Milan that was packed, and finally a shuttle bus to Milan Linate Airport.

What a stroke of luck that the flight leaves around 8 PM on the evening of May 6. On our next trip, we will be closer to the airport on the last night.
