Day 2 - Through Germany and Poland

After a hearty breakfast, we started at exactly 08:45 towards the Baltic Sea. First in Germany, then the rest in Poland. The weather was really great in the morning, with sunshine at times. However, in the afternoon, it was mostly raining, sometimes more, sometimes less. Thanks to the mostly light traffic, the journey went smoothly and I reached my destination at 16:00. However, I had to wait patiently for a proud 1.5 hours before I could check into my room. Officially, check-in was supposed to be at 17:00, but I overlooked that. The remaining half an hour was due to the receptionist's incompetence.

This day unfortunately did not go without incidents: due to the heavy rain, my phone broke down. It was still working at my last stop, about 20km before the destination. However, I noticed at the reception that the screen seems to be broken. Luckily, I know someone who has experience with screen replacements 😃 Nevertheless, I need a replacement tomorrow, so I will make a quick stop at the Media Markt in Kristianstad. I was really prepared for a lot, but a broken phone was the last thing I expected 😃 Oh well, as long as nothing worse happens...

Tomorrow I have to get up early, as my ferry departs from Swinoujscie at 07:30. However, I have to be at the check-in no later than 06:30, so I need to wake up at 05:30 (at the latest!).
