It’s 3 AM, Australia isn’t fully awake yet, but I’m already on my feet. Today is travel day, and the destination is Queensland. The excitement is tangible, as in the coming hours, I will enter a completely new world. Already, I feel the temperatures rising, and I am eager to see how this day will unfold.
At 4:45 AM, an Uber picks me up to take me to the airport. The destination is Rockhampton, and from there, the adventure begins in an even warmer, more tropical part of Australia.
