My top 3 from Australia – moments for life

When I pick out my personal top moments from all the impressions of my trip to Australia, I realize just how incredibly rich this time was.

There were so many experiences that it's almost impossible to process them all. But three stand out for me in particular – although in the end, I even came in third place twice.

Number 1: Snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef

The absolute highlight. Period.

That day completely overwhelmed me. The feeling of being there in the water, the colors, the vastness, the life beneath the surface – it was simply sensational. I was emotionally overwhelmed. It deeply touched me and incredibly fulfilled me. An experience that is etched in my memory and will stay with me forever.

Number 2: The day with the family – nature, knowledge, life

Today was extraordinary. The insight this family gave us was truly special.

Leaves that look the same to me – one deadly, one life-giving, one healing. The matter-of-fact way we interact with crocodiles, which are simply "there," with whom we live. The fishing, this incredible diversity, names that have to be repeated because there are so many different species – and then these sizes!

That wasn't just exciting, it was deeply impressive. A true life lesson.

Number 3 (shared): Two heartfelt moments

🔹 Noosa – Pure joy of life

My experience in Noosa during the second week was truly special. Singing together with the young people, and sharing that moment with my sister-in-law and my immediate family – my two daughters and my wife – was pure joy. It deeply moved me.

🔹 Bridge Climb Sydney

And then, of course, there's the bridge climbing in Sydney.

Especially because of Eloisa.

The passion and enthusiasm with which she spoke about it was infectious. This experience was simply sensational.

When I compare Australia and New Zealand, I realize:

That's simply unacceptable.

New Zealand's scenery was absolutely stunning. But Australia was just as fantastic – in its own unique way.

And then there was so much more: Rod Laver Stadium, countless impressions, encounters, moments that I can't even properly process yet. It was simply too much, too intense, too special.

I will capture all of this for myself – with a beautiful photo and with lots of emotion.

And above all, I want to say one thing very clearly:

Thanks.

Thank you to my entire family for this opportunity.

I know how special that is.

I am incredibly grateful that I was able to experience this.

A once-in-a-lifetime experience – that sums it up perfectly.
