After the overwhelming experiences of the last few days, we wanted to leave the West Lofoten and continue our journey north. Even though the landscape doesn't make it easy to leave this area, the weather gradually drove us back towards the mainland. Along the way, we made several stops: in the fishing village of Nusfjord, in the glassblower town of Vikten with its architecturally unusual café, in Borg with its Viking Experience Museum, we stayed overnight at the beach of Hovsund, visited the Lofoten Cathedral, as well as the "Magic Ice" in Svolvær (where artists have created a bar with a sculpture world made of pure ice in an isolated harbor cold chamber) and the nearby island of Kuba.
