The Arrival

On time at 11:38 AM, the train arrived at the Gare de Lyon. I got off and decided to walk toward the hotel, knowing that check-in isn’t until 3 PM. So I set off along the Seine and immediately discovered the Jardin des Plantes. In addition to a small zoo, there are tens of thousands of different plant species in the park.

After a short snack and reading break, I continued my walk along the Seine. I directly visited the Île de la Cité, the island on the Seine where Notre Dame is located. After that, I headed towards the Louvre.
