Direction Namib

We continued driving straight south to the Orange River (the border river to South Africa). It's hard to believe, but we discovered a green oasis with a vineyard. After two days, we headed back north towards Aus. This means we circled the Fish River Canyon once. The landscape is unique. Aus is situated at 1,600 meters above sea level, making it higher than the Brenner Pass. We spent the night in Klein-Aus, right in the heart of the Namib. Gigantic.
