A day like no other... Mom steps in as a substitute and works all day long. At noon, Wiwi gets picked up and unusually gets driven home. We want to enter the house as usual through the garage but find ourselves at a locked gate. So we take a different route, entering through the front door like regular citizens. Dad isn’t at the stove cooking as usual; instead, he's down in the dark tech room, chatting on the phone with a sexy electrician, trying to get the electricity back on. The laundry room is still flooded. Eventually, we do get lunch and a moment of peace, as well as an unusual power nap for Mom before her afternoon shift. Dad works late in her place, and the girls are allowed to stay outside in the snow for almost another hour. For dinner, there are unusual combinations on the toasts, and instead of Andrew Bond, jazz and blues echo through the cabin today.
