The last day in Belém also came very quickly. We enjoyed one last breakfast at the hotel, then we headed to the airport because the day before my first flight from Belém to São Paulo was canceled and we still had to take care of this first flight. Thank goodness GOL was able to rebook this flight! Then we quickly went to the shopping center to buy some things for the return flight and then to the PCR test. We were told that the result would come by email around 9 p.m. One last time, we had a delicious lunch of fish and acai.
When the result still hadn't arrived by 10 p.m., Déby took action and tried to reach the doctor, who then sent the test result around 10:30 p.m. Lucky!
Back at the hotel, it was time to pack the suitcases and backpacks. Although I had brought many things to Brazil, all the bags and backpacks were equally heavy again.
We had agreed with the children and Márcia and Garilson that we would all go out for dinner again and then we picked everyone up. Once again, it was a fun evening.
After dinner, we took the children home, where I also bid them a heartfelt farewell, and we headed to the airport because my first flight departed at 3:25 a.m. to São Paulo.
