04.11.2021 Return to Belém and car breakdown

On the return trip from Mosqueiro to Belém, we did the same as on the outward journey: Márcia and Garilson took the bus again, and the rest of the family took the car. But as soon as we passed the sign of Mosqueiro, a plastic part of the clutch broke, and we managed to reach a small workshop a few meters away. Once again, it was admirable to see the helpfulness of the people here. The mechanic immediately started looking for the cause and removed the defective part. We went on our way on a motorcycle without a helmet to get a replacement part. Of course, the dealer did not have a new part in stock, so we passed by the junkyard and bought a used replacement part for 10 Reais (approximately 1.60 Euros!!).

Back at the car, the mechanic immediately installed the part, and we were able to continue driving shortly after. Thank God!

Upon arriving at Déby's house, everyone prepared to visit Déby's godmother's family. The evening was once again very fun, and we had a lot of fun! The food and dessert were also delicious!
