On Monday, I started with further improvements according to the 5A principles. This requires many discussions with the directly involved instructors as well as the college administration. I present my ideas and suggestions and provide an example of how it could be implemented. My ideas are taken up and addressed promptly. Initial implementations, such as in waste management, have been carried out; the labels have been created, and only the containers are missing. Other ideas are also being examined, such as dust-free storage of sensitive electronic boards in a separate cabinet.
I was missing a small table in the guesthouse, so I asked in the furniture workshop for a small table and inherited an old one. After treatment in the painting workshop, it now shines in front of the guesthouse.
Living together with 3 volunteers from Switzerland 🇨🇭 is also inspiring. During our shared lunches and dinners, personal experiences are exchanged, including stories about a stolen mobile phone that could still be traced nearby, as well as a credit card that was confiscated by an ATM.
In my next report, I will inform you about further repairs to lighting and woodworking machines.
The nightly howling of hyenas around the guesthouse often draws me outside to capture a few snapshots of the pack.
