Day 2 - From Artlenburg to Dömitz

Today we started towards Dömitz in beautiful but cool weather. First, we made a short detour to Lauenburg, quite pretty but not enjoyable to ride due to cobblestones. The rest of the ride along the Elbe was filled with wildlife. We encountered a few deer along the way. Then some storks, and as a highlight, we actually came across a live snake on the path. Unfortunately, it was too fast to photograph or identify. Worth mentioning about today was the extremely gusty wind, but luckily, we had it mostly at our backs, so we made good progress. Despite a distance of 85 km, we arrived in Dömitz in the afternoon at 3 pm. Let's keep going like this.
