Tag 1 - From Hamburg to Artlenburg

After a short detour to the Hafen-City, we started our journey. We quickly found the Elbe Cycle Path, but the Elbe itself took some time to appear. The path mostly led along the dike. Eventually, we deviated from the route and went straight to the Elbe, where we had a currywurst at the Zollenspieker Ferry. After almost 60 km, mostly with a good tailwind, we arrived at our accommodation, the Schützenhof Artlenburg.
