Friesland (NL) | Terherne Sneekermeer

Terherne (or Terhorne) is located in the Dutch southwest Friesland. It is a small village surrounded by water. There are many holiday homes here and yet a very cute and worth seeing town center has been preserved. The place and its immediate surroundings are characterized by canals, boats and even larger ships that pass through the lock. But cyclists also get their money's worth. The area is largely flat, the cycle paths are well developed and signposted and there is also a ferry with which you can shorten your route across the Sneekermeer.
