Only 6 hours until the adventure!

The last few days have been exciting, but now it gets serious: In about 6 hours, it will be time to grab my suitcase and head to the airport! My travel buddy Ursula – you know, my trusty plush unicorn – has, of course, taken her sweet time once again. Packing the suitcase? Oh, why not do it on the last evening! She simply wouldn't move a hoof earlier.

While I was secretly panicking a bit, worried that she might forget something important (toothbrush? passport? snacks?!), Ursula handled the whole situation with remarkable calmness. Did she think of everything? We’ll find out tomorrow morning when we have to go through security together. I mean, how often do you see a unicorn at a security check? I hope she gets through without any issues – after all, she is a very innocent unicorn.

Until then, I have no choice but to somehow kill time during the night. Sleeping would be wise, but hey – who can manage that before a long trip? The plan: to be nice and tired on the plane so I can sleep through the first leg of the journey.

I’ll check in tomorrow morning from the airport and let you know if everything went smoothly – or if Ursula causes chaos right away. Until then, cross your hooves ... uh, fingers!
