Hello together,
After a few wonderful days in Barcelona, I continued towards Denia and on the way there I looked at the Via Ferrata dels Patacons and also the Delta de l'Ebre. All in all it was a complete day trip at a pleasant 35 degrees.
As I sat in the car on the way there, I already figured it was going to those hills, since all the land in front of it is very flat.
When I arrived at the advertised parking lot, I packed my stuff and rubbed myself especially well, since most of the trail is probably in the sun.
After I spontaneously found another climbing area during the approach, I also found the corresponding approach shortly afterwards.
And after the first glance I had some respect for this climb, especially because I had to get out of the via ferrata through an escape channel because I didn't have a rope with me. But that was also planned in advance and I had to act very carefully and plan carefully so that I didn't miss this exit point.
After the first meters there was already a new aspect of a climb with a duck march through a heavy overhang. Here I had to take off my backpack so that I wouldn't accidentally get caught on the ceiling.
But the view from here was fantastic.
So we went over the first and longest rope bridge and the path here was really very nice.
After everything went as planned, I got back to the car safely and made my way to the Delta de l'Ebre. The region reminded me a bit of the Camargue and there were a lot of rice fields to the left and right.
In the background you can see exactly the mountains where I was on a via ferrata before. From there we continued south to Torrenostra and the last campsite on the coast for the time being. Here I enjoyed a delicious dinner and then took an evening walk along the promenade and went for a walk on the beach.
The next morning the alarm clock rang shortly after 6, so I could see Valencia the next day.
I'll give you my impressions of the third largest city in my next post.
feel depressed with sweat,
Your Britta
