Hello Hello,
I have already informed you that Finn and I went snorkeling together in the marine reserve of Goat Island. Unfortunately, the transfer from the GoPro to my phone is not working anymore, so I cannot show you a single underwater image until I am back home and can download the pictures.
Moreover, Finn and I haven't even taken photos of the island or the beach – the only pictures I can show you are of the super tasty ice cream we ate afterward and a photo of the beach by our accommodation, where we observed a few photos.

The snorkeling was really cool, and Finn and I enjoyed it a lot. We saw a few silver breams and some ancient (60-70 years old) snappers.
The marine reserve is the oldest in New Zealand and is also a site for some studies from the adjacent scientific center.
The guided snorkeling trip lasted about 1.5 hours, but we could use the equipment, including wetsuits, for the rest of the day. So we ate our snacks and then went back into the water for another 40 minutes. However, since the current was quite strong at the end, we made our way back to the completely crowded beach.
We went out to eat and made a stop at a super delicious ice cream place on the way home.
It was a dream day that I can tell you more about than show you.
In the next post, things will look different again, so until then, have a great day.
Your Britta
