Coromandel Pinnacles

So my dear ones,

it has indeed been a while since I went hiking, and for our next little adventure, we did a hike to the Coromandel Pinnacles. There were a total of 4 hobbits, and we had a really perfect hiking day even though the weather was not as warm as expected. The track was an absolute dream and towards the end, it was not so easy anymore, and there were a few climbing sections, which made me even happier.

I usually did all my hikes alone, so it was a bit of an adjustment to have 3 additional people with me. It was definitely nice because I could chat with them in between, but I really enjoy hiking alone as well.

The view was a dream, and the weather was perfect except for the wind. But the wind was bearable - it just made the track a bit cooler than expected. This time, wearing extra clothing definitely paid off. After about 2.5 hours, we reached the summit and enjoyed the view from the top. A Britta pose definitely had to be included.

With a little detour at the end, we saw a waterfall. None of us were particularly impressed, so we quickly moved on to the car and then headed home.

A wonderful hike with some wonderful people!
