1st Day - The tour begins

Finally the time has come - Lisi, Kori, and I can travel to Thailand. In this very special time, the travel preparations were quite exciting. With Thaipass, Thai insurance, PCR test, and various advance information - constantly changing entry requirements - we were very well prepared. On December 31, 2021, we will take the train at 11:14 a.m. to Vienna and fly to Bangkok via Dubai at 9:55 p.m. There will be some checks at the Bangkok airport. Kori is Thai and has been living in Austria for a long time. We have a big advantage because of that. We will spend the first night in Bangkok at Sinsuvarn Airport Suite Hotel - I would describe it as a mid-range hotel. After check-in, Kori is naturally hungry, so she orders something to eat and we also eat with her. Spicy chicken with fried rice and coconut soup. Everything tastes very good. Then off to bed, because at 3 a.m. we have to go for the PCR test at the hotel. That wasn't much sleep. By the time we are back in the room, it is already past 4 a.m. The result should be available by about 11:30 a.m., so let's use the time to sleep.
