Snow has prevented us this time

Published: 19.07.2023

After a very cold night (our Camp is at 6500 feet, 2200m), Troy prepared breakfast, 6 eggs plus summer sausage. We are ready to roll and the heat is coming back.

The plan was to make a right turn at the Gold mining dredge, swim excavator and Gold processing Equipment into the mountains and enter the 21 West of Stanley near Beaver Creek Camp. Bonanza to Beaver Creek is approximately 60 miles, 100 km of road riding.

This time there was no road closed sign, but just a couple of meters before we reached the Pass, there it was - snow! This time there was no way around it, no way over it.

Ok, 30 miles back instead of forward. No problem, it's all about fun.

The way back was just as much fun!

We are back in Stanley. We filled up gas, supplies, found cell connection, so I can update this blog.

We also got fishing licenses for tomorrow. Keep following! It will be a fun day tomorrow.
