Sweden Day 5 - Fishing in Laholm

Near Laholm, one should have great luck fishing for salmon, so Jesse and Mike tried their luck during the day. Gina and I went for a walk and soaked up the sun in the meantime :-).

Unfortunately, Jesse and Mike didn’t catch anything, but we still had tortellini for dinner. Not too far away, we drove to a free camping spot in Laholm where we had been before in 2022. While there are no toilets here, it’s not a problem with the caravan. Only a few other motorhomes (from Sweden) were on site. We love this spot; it’s beautiful, you can also fish there (which we successfully did in 2022), swim in the lake, and there’s plenty of space.

We spent our last night together at this spot because Jesse and Gina had to go to Växjö the next day to pick up Gina’s bus. Gina had parked her bus there to spend some time traveling with Jesse.

The evening was quite cold, but we went for a quick walk because the blood moon was supposed to be visible. However, it didn’t really come out in the photos.
