The Upper Lusatia

Today we started, our first destination is a small campsite in beautiful Upper Lusatia, the Country Camp in Oderwitz. The site is very well-maintained and is undoubtedly a paradise for horse lovers. The owners are very nice and helpful. The camping spots are on the meadow and not divided into plots. The highlight is a log cabin that can be rented, which can accommodate about 6 people. Upper Lusatia is always worth a visit; with the narrow-gauge railway you can travel from Zittau to the spa town of Johnsdorf or to Oybin where you can hike on the mountain of the same name. The city of Zittau is located at the tri-border area of Poland and the Czech Republic, and a trip there is also worthwhile.
