January 25, 2020 - Day 30 - Sydney, Australia

After doing some laundry (our suite has both a washer and a dryer), we went to the city and visited the beautiful botanical garden. In total, we were on our feet for over 4 hours, which called for some rest in the afternoon.

In the evening, we went to a Thai restaurant by the harbor and I think we have never had such good Thai food outside of Thailand. We were more than impressed.

Afterwards, we went down to Circular Quay where the preparations for tomorrow's "Australia Day" are in full swing. One can only imagine what will happen here tomorrow. Unfortunately, we have to head to the airport in the early evening, but we will surely experience some of the day's events up close. Just from how the opera house was illuminated tonight, we can expect a lot.
