We leave Oalverdi and drive for 1 hour to Warzia, the famous cave monastery. On the way, we stop at a cemetery and admire the very well-carved tombstones, some even on the backside. In any case, you get a good idea of what the person looked like in life.

The second stop is at a special bridge, where an old railway car has simply been repurposed as a bridge! However, it is no longer usable, but there is supposed to be a geocache hidden here!

If it weren't for the giant crab spider guarding the cache!

Fearlessly and persistently, as my Tini is, she searches through all the creepy holes of the wagon until she actually finds the cache. Our 699!

Our last spontaneous stop is at Khevertis Fortress, one of the best-preserved castles in all of Georgia.

We enjoy the sun for the remaining afternoon at our 4th accommodation of the trip: Tsotne’s Kingdom.
