Punctual landing in Bogota. I thought to myself: quickly get the boarding pass for the connecting flight to Medellin, have a beer and I'm already there. Think again....
I spent 2 out of 2.5 hours of my layover time at the Avianca (local airline) counter, where after 1 hour and 50 minutes (!!) I finally managed to print a boarding pass. The remaining 10 minutes were needed by the three men and one woman who were dealing with me by then, to explain that my luggage was still being searched for 😡. But I should just fly, the luggage will DEFINITELY arrive there. BIENVENIDOS A COLOMBIA 😂
...... and, who was the last one at the baggage carousel in Medellin? Right, it was Marc. And without luggage. Okay, then I'll go shopping tomorrow and buy all the stuff again. But first, some discussions with a lot of staff and filling out forms. Just when I was about to write my last signature, a woman came out of some room with my backpack. It had arrived with an earlier (!) flight somehow. You have to have luck sometimes 🙏
Then I called an Uber and rode with Jesus (yes, that was really his name) and his Renault Logan to Julia's place. Now we'll have a nightcap after all and tomorrow we'll take a look at everything in daylight. ¡Buenas noches!
