The next day, I wait out the morning shower and then meet the first traveler of the upcoming weeks - Göki. We head to Bondi Beach and walk along the coastal path to Coogee Beach. The water is a turquoise petrol blue, and without the regular drinking fountains and 7.3 layers of sunscreen, one could hardly endure the sun today. It's a bit crazy that I actually find it quite normal to throw myself into the waves of the sea on December 27, because it's so hot. And that’s at around 2 AM (so - back home). After a quick stop at the hostel, we search for dinner in the longest street I have ever seen (George Street) and find a very delicious Nepalese restaurant. With a view of the lights at Darling Harbour (what a lovely name!), we end the day.
