The first real day

Yesterday I think I fell asleep around 5 PM and was so knocked out that I didn't notice anything anymore; I only woke up in the morning the next day. Today is April 15, 2025. Thankfully, the night wasn't too cold because I have a really thick blanket and was dressed warmly. But outside, I'll tell you, for just one second, my hands freeze, and my nose is running. And then it’s also raining. Damn. So, I put on everything warm I own, threw on a rain jacket, and headed towards the mall. On the way, I stopped by a second-hand shop and couldn't be happier: I got a t-shirt, a top, a warm sweater, 2 pairs of fluffy socks, and a tattered winter jacket for €18, so an absolute steal. But I still went to the mall because my main priority was jeans. And yes, I found such a good pair, and accidentally also a jogging pants, oops. But I can't even describe to you how amazing it feels to wear something like that again after such a long time; it’s a dream. It was actually cheaper than I thought, so not too bad. I have the essentials now, and I’ll buy a beanie, scarf, etc. when something good catches my eye, so that's not urgent yet. I then just had something to eat in the mall, thought I’d treat myself today, and then went shopping. I came home; it stopped raining, and I'm resting a bit because I'm still pretty exhausted despite a lot of sleep. So, I'm chilling here, reading a bit, maybe later I'll go for a walk in the park or make a phone call, and starting tomorrow, the organizational stuff will begin. In short, the boring stuff: I have my ID card, my bank account is opened, everything's going well. There are still a few things to take care of, but that’s all after I've picked up my car. So, in 1-2 days, I’ll start a sightseeing round after most of the organizational stuff is taken care of.
