Carsten's Ps: It's about time I added my comment. Although I always get to play the editor, only Carmen has written so far, diligently as I find. She puts a lot of effort into many of the articles and diligently translates the interesting passages from travel literature.
Not only was she willing to embark on this adventure with me, she is also extremely brave. Today she collected red earth for a lantern alone at Uluru, armed only with a bag and a spoon, in the middle of the bush grass. Next to it was a sign warning of the local "wildlife".
Despite the small and large creatures, she handles all everyday situations under camper conditions and always jumps in when my eyes are about to fall shut while driving in the boundless expanse (which happens frequently).
Then there are these hiking trips, with or without poles, in blazing heat. Since we've been together, we haven't hiked that much.
And Carmen really does speak and write English more and more often. She familiarizes herself with the surroundings and books the campsites in advance so that we have a place to stay.
Sometimes I wonder what she still needs me for?
It sounds a bit like a hymn of praise, and it is. Respect and acknowledgment.
I love my honey for all of this and much more.
