In just under four weeks it starts

Over the past few weeks, we have been diligently planning our trip to Uganda. Together with Jude from the Busano Community Initiative, we have created a schedule of activities we want to do. Then we started preparing for the trip, which of course includes vaccinations. Accommodations had to be found and booked.
Currently, we are considering what useful and meaningful things we can bring with us for the school, the school children, and the board members there. For example, solar lamps, as many children in their houses/huts do not have electricity. Since the sun sets rapidly around 6:00 PM near the equator, that means little to no light in the evenings and nights. With the help of solar energy, we can bring them light for reading or studying.
