We spend two days on the Mediterranean island of Favignana - one of the Aegadian Islands off the west coast of Sicily.
We spend beautiful evenings in the enchanting harbor town of Favignana. Standing freely with our Bully. Discovering the island by motorboat and by bicycle. Visiting a former tuna factory. Observing fishermen. Eating tuna sandwiches. And this morning, we were greeted by the first rain since our trip in the Bully. The first time having breakfast in the Bully while the rain drums on the windows. Before making tea and coffee, the flames go out at the same time and we know: we need a new gas bottle. With an empty water tank, no gas, and a bag full of beautiful memories, we leave the island this morning. A special island because the simple buildings remind us more of Morocco and somehow everything seems like it's from another world.
