Plitvice Lakes National Park
Today

Time and again, we encounter a hero from my childhood here: Many Winnetou films were shot in the two national parks we are traversing, and the film score automatically comes to mind. Therefore, we absolutely had to visit the Winnetou Museum today.
Of course, we know today that Karl May and his main character should be viewed critically: the plots are somewhat simplistic, with racist clichés, etc. ... all that aside. But what intrigued little Karl-Werner about this character so much that his first trip to the cinema led him to the Winnetou film at the Lippstadt cinema Nordstern? It wasn't just the infatuation with Winnetou's sister Ntscho-Tschi.❤️ And what could little Karl-Werner have learned from Winnetou?
1. 'Firewater' is not good, because - when consumed in excess - it takes you away from your own true will.
2. The 'blood brotherhood' with Old Shatterhand also shows that friendships can endure beyond ethnic and cultural boundaries.
3. People who crave gold and money ('The Treasure in Silver Lake') must be stopped because they endanger the peaceful coexistence of humanity.
Traveling in Croatia can also lead one to their own history.
