Stroll through Prague

David had an early appointment in Prague. Therefore, we agreed to take the train to Prague at 7 o'clock. From the age of 65, one can travel for free on all means of transport in Prague.

I assumed I would hear the children when they got up. However, they slept longer today, and so did I. It was somewhat embarrassing that David had to wake me up, especially since he had to take an earlier train. So I hurried, and we were already sitting on the train at 06:40. Just 20 minutes later, we reached Prague in the middle of the old town.

First, David showed me his training and office space before we parted ways. He went to his meeting, and I explored the old town of Prague. I already knew it from an earlier visit with André but was still overwhelmed by the multitude of buildings, towers, churches, and other architectural masterpieces worth seeing. You could take countless photos in every street and at every corner. I tried to filter the shots and only capture the most beautiful ones.

At 11 a.m., David finished his appointment, and he had already offered me a private tour across the Vltava River at the castle of one of the tours he offers as a city guide. That’s how André and I also met him 8 years ago. As a night watchman, he showed us the special features of Prague's old town. Then we took a tram for a short distance, so the route on Komoot is somewhat distorted. From then on, I got to enjoy a private tour with him and learned much about the history of these buildings that have a long past.
